Camilla's Brother Dies.

It seems so strange that on the news section, we often see various celebrities deaths entered for condolences and comments, and yet the Brother in Law of the heir apparent dies in an unfortunate freak accident but this hasn't until now been put up for similar responses.

What a terrible accident to happen to anyone celebrity or otherwise RIP.

I wonder how many of you knew of Bob Goldoff's daughter, Peaches Geldoff?

Yet this piece of news attracted 128 comments.

Why the need to criticise Camilla at her time of grief, with the offensive remarks like "Charles second wife/mistress" and "now he was the brother of Charles' mistress / second wife".

I wonder how many these days have not been married more than once or have been a mistress or had one?

almost impossible, legally, sir.prize. I welcome the current sucession and refuse to join in with the idiots who have never met Charles and Camilla but choose to hate them anyway usually based on tabloid reporting.

I've never heard of him either but I see he was a conservationist and the founder of a charity set up to protect endangered elephants so that makes him OK in my book, whoever his relations are.

Camilla was his mistress and then his second wife. Why on earth is stating that offensive?

I've never heard of him. I've heard of Peaches Geldof, I've seen her interviewed, I've read her articles etc etc and she was just 24 with two very small children.

It is so sad to lose any loved one so the. Family have my condolences - but the thought of camilla on the throne makes me puke - i class her the same as the english people viewed Anne Boleyn.

Precisely the point I was trying to make, I was condemned for making the above comment in a long past post (which someone has took the trouble to search for) but not for my spelling error of the word constant, but simply asking an innocent question, yet there are some who are not slow to come out with their more offensive remarks at the time of a death.

Do we now have to be very careful not only from what news source one gets the announcement, but also on what particular individual, celebrity, or a Royal person's death we can enter a thread on?

Peaches Geldoff - Probably everyone had heard of and knew about her and her mother, and Michael Hutchence etc Also she was young and leaves two young children. Mark Shand, who I honestly had never heard of until this story was in his sixties and had a fall. Peaches we still dont know the reason for her sudden death. Very different stories and no wonder that one had lots of comments and the other not.
