How odd that the left berate those who don't pretend to be anything other than well off, and yet admire the hypocrites who feign comradeship for the working man regardless of the personal wealth and position they have no objection to acquiring in the process.

Neither they belong to the civilsed and gentleman classes, this uncouth individual can only belong to the nasty left, he should be arrested and charged with assault.

psybbo: you must be daft. Money goes to Prescott, loads to ghost writer. Occasionally he glances at it to see if it accords with his views.
Probably the most coherent sentence he ever wrote was when, offered a title (against everything he supposedly stood for) he managed to write 'OK'. Even then he said it was just for Pauline (the wife he cheated on in the most flagrant fashion).

It's enough to make one consider the Anarchists - or a new party we are putting together, the Putin Party, that looks to annex the Islands (inc Aran and the Scillies) if and when Salmondland is created, on their want to remain aligned to London and thereby secure the oil/fishing/whisky/Shetland Gina and Vodka rights and, in the case of the Scillies, a monopoly on early season daffodils.

And, further to earlier contributions, what could possibly be more hypocritical than someone like Kinnock, who spent most of his political life arguing against the EU then becoming an EU Commissioner, who spent all his active political life arguing against nuclear weapons (a CND member) and then becoming a senior official in an organisation that supports WMD and who, for all of his active political life, vehemently proposed the abolition of the House of the Lords - and then joins it. Ghastly people. Prescott just the same.
