As you can see, most people Polled agreed with the 5p charge...roughly 2 to 1 in favour. But can anyone explain why UKIP supporters gave such a different result ? 49% agree and 44% oppose ?
Why should UKIP supporters be so much at odds to all other parties ?
The answer doesn't appear to be explained by gender, age, or social grade.
Curiouser and curiouser !

This from the Labour Party’s website.
//The Labour Party was created in 1900……The first Labour government [1924]had modest objectives and held office for only a few months….following the election in May 1929, Labour was back in office, albeit still as a minority administration…..in 1931 unemployment caused a crisis within the cabinet. Politically unable to either cut benefits or increase taxes to deal with the financial problem caused by high unemployment, the government was split and fell.//

Who's this bloke obsessed with poles? OMG it's Mikey! Thought he'd gone underground on one of his own posts about paedophiles yesterday!!! Welcome back! Don't do plastic bags anyway. Even though I'm getting on I still manage to reuse mine and have done for years. I live a mile from a tip and most of the ones in this are end up in trees, fields and hedgerows on the way to it. So instead of paying 5p when it starts, come down here!
Thanks for your comments linda...by the way its polls, not poles, but anybody can make a speling mistack !
We have had the 5p charge for bags here in Wales for years now and most people now use one of the tough reusable bags that Tesco, etc sell. They are vastly superior to the flimsy ones. You only ever hear of any opposition to the charge from foreign visitors, mostly the English ones !
And I still don't understand why UKIP supporters should be so much out of favour with the 5p charge, compared to all the other Parties.
