How many Americans have you met in your lifetime? My guess is that you have not met very many because if you had you would realise that racists exist in all parts of the world and not just the United States.

Actually I have made many friends in America and all of them would be as appalled about the activities of the KKK as we all are on this side of the Atlantic.

But it doesn't alter the fact that this is about a political and racist movement in The States, not the Home Counties. It needs combatting and that is what I am doing tonight.

Actually Baldric, I thought the purple outfit was rather fetching ! Its the sort of thing that Gandalf would have had to wear if he ever made the transition from being Gandalf the White to Gandalf the Purple. But irony is sometimes lost on our Colonial Cousins.
