That's a nice link, Furry, and a hell of a thread to put it on...

The iraqis have killed our troops, so that justifies us trampling on their basic rights? We can torture, kill, and humiliate people in captivity? And we expect them not to turn to terrorism as a valid response.

With the greatest respect to the memory of those who lost their lives in the 'war', Allied forces invaded a sovereign nation against international law. What were the iraqis supposed to do to this stranger with a gun who wanted to come in and take over his country? What would you do if I invaded your land?

And the hilarious thing is, it's left the country in a worse state now!

Yes, I think the link MargeB has posted to the BBC tribute to the London dead is excellent, a fitting reminder of what can happen when we storm in, guns-a-blazing. Whoever has researched and organised this page should receive the utmost praise.
