Is this worse than the PC re-write of 'Dad' to 'Partner'?

Should gay people accept that their sexual orientation makes them fair game for this? Or is this another example of 'PC gone mad'?

That is disgraceful! They should be damned well ashamed of themselves for abusing their 'power' as an official.
What a strange story.

The guys have been married for 12/13 years and have two kids. They may or may not have had relationships with women before that but I would have considered that to be totally irrelevant in this situation.

I don't know what questions should be asked but there is no logical reason to discuss their sexual preferences.

Is it just me or is the world going nuts?

No-one should, but the person's been suspended, so everything's ok. It'd only be a problem if it happened routinely, or if the man complained and nothing was done.
