The select committee were reporting on 2013 before the present crisis started. When Russia annexed the east of Ukraine, the Government suspended licenses.

Apart from letting Hungarians in Britain's got talent in the series before the most recent one, one of the few remaining talents we have is in the manufacturing of weapons.

If we responsibly sell them abroad then we get money coming in from outside our shores that help reduce the billions we borrow from beyond our shores, about 25% of which is used to meet the repayments on the money we've borrowed already!

Your last post seems a complete contradiction to your OP. In your OP you seem to be wanting us to stop manufacturing arms so that it doesn't embarrass the PM and in your last you seem to be suggesting that we should keep on doing it to safeguard jobs.
