I had my grommet follow up today and my hearing is perfect....the left grommet isn't quite right but we are both going to ignore that... the whooshing of the pulse I can hear should settle down...eventually....☺
Anyway, it's always reassuring to know the heart is beating...
We did discuss the many illness in my notes that I don't have and the changes I made to my notes which he had seen...and been amused by.
He was also pleased that I hadn't followed the instructions I was sent home with....to insert two paracetamol four times a day into both eyes.....
He told me not to worry about the fact that I had, twice, got the wrong notes on my bed because I didn't die......quite often, he said, people have the right notes and end up dead....so I shouldn't complain too much.
He decided to discharge me but told the nurse to add a note to say that if he's having a bad day and wants cheering up by a mad Irish woman I am to be recalled...
I don't mind...as long as no scalpel is involved....he's quite a dish.....♥
Very good news that, gness. I know the doc wasn't sqad otherwise the instructions would have said.... insert two Ibuprofen four times daily into both eyes ;-)
Good to hear that gness, and the hearing bit is good to know. I'm sure that doc felt cheered up after seeing you. Even sqad would not recommend paracetemol in the eyes. Suppositries on the other hand are a hard act to follow....
Perish the thought, Gran.....made my eyes water.....
Though I had a friend many years ago who had four children...the last three were pill failures....til we discovered she was inserting them instead of swallowing.......☺
