Hardly a shock. If such feelings continue one can only surmise that such sentiments may well be reflected in the ballot box next year.
Whadyathink, mikey?

Whenever right-minded, law abiding decent folk gape open mouthed with incredulity at what DIDN'T happen(investigations wise) in Rotherham because of political correctness and fear of being branded racist, they're instantly deemed far right neanderthals.
Looks like I'll need to stop dragging my knuckles for the forseeable future........

At risk of being called an 'apologist' by Svejk, every time the acronym 'IS' is used it seems to affirm that this self-styled terrorist group is upholding the Islamic faith. Several people are now using the prefix "so called", given that their actions are vigorously condemned by senior Muslim clerics and followers of all sects.
I think a more descriptive epithet should be sought.

They are only words, what we would all like to see is some positive action taken by these Muslim Clerics and their followers, they could start by cleaning up their Mosques, and I don't mean a good sweeping and dusting exercise.
Then they could hand over information of those in their midst who are acting in a radical way, and at the extreme end they could set up 'old pals' brigades to go out and fight against these brother extremists.

Theses paedophiles need to be brought to justice...swiftly. We cannot allow a similar situation with the Catholic priests (and care homes) to be repeated. The problem we have is that certain people with unspoken agendas have sought to use this for their own racist ends. They should be ignored, because we all know what they are up to. The most important thing in this story is the children. Time and again children are ignored. This time their voices *must* be heard.

Ironically there have been a few Israeli flags appearing at far-right demos - as they share a common distaste at anything Islamic.
And on the other side the far left harbour an unthinkable alliance with supporters of hardline Islam - as they share a common distaste of anything white and right. Azad Ali - the vice chair of the UAF (Unite against Fascism) is a raving Jihadist holding prominently fascist views.
Its a strange world we live in....

/// The far right are detested because of their support of Nazism. ///
That is just over sensationalising it, maybe that could be said in the thirties, but we are now in 2014, the Nazi party no longer exists, not in this country anyway..
/// When you have hundreds of thousands of British men dying in WWII only to see their knuckleheaded offspring praising Hitler, well...inevitably, there will be ill-feeling for them. ///
Out come the usual expletives to describe those who no longer consider themselves citizens in their own country, and have you any proof of the off springs of those heroes of the long gone past, now praising Hitler?
I wonder who the far left would now blame if there had never been a person such as Hitler or his Nazi Party?

Chili...sorry to be so late in answering you but I had to take my pet raccoon to the Vets for his monthly hepatitis injections.
I have been castigated on AB in the past for calling UKIP the Far Right, even though they snuggle up to their far right bedfellows in Brussels. I have bowed to the majority regarding the exact status of UKIP, so I am presuming that you must mean the BNP in your reference to the ballot box. I seriously doubt that anybody here on AB is going to admit to being a BNP supporter, so this may be a one-sided debate.
So, perhaps you mean that the BNP vote will be up next May ? Hardly a problem, as they are a political non-entity and play no part in our Parliamentary process. Nick Griffin effectively signed the death warrant for the BNP when he appeared on Question Time. The EDL are just an uneducated and ill assembled mob, so it can't be them that you mean, and don't field any candidates at Elections.
So again, to refer back to UKIP, they only have one policy and that is to get Britain out of Europe politically, and the IS are a quarrel in a far away country between people of whom we know little, and the child abuse that has gone on against girls in Rotherham, and against boys in Rochdale appears to fall outside of the remit of UKIP as well !
Taking my tongue firmly out of my cheek, I have warned about the rise of the FR in Britain, and in Europe in general for a long time. There has never been a time since 1945 where the FR have posed such a threat to democracy, and we should be taking that threat very seriously indeed.
Hitler managed to make the German people think, in their millions, that the Jews were less than human, thus making it easier to persecute them. We appear to be on the road to the same situation here in Britain, but instead of Jews, its just about anybody who isn't white enough, or Anglo-Saxon enough.

and are you not just doing the same, are you not bringing Catholic priests (and care homes) just for your own particular unspoken agenda?
Easy to try and hopefully cover up the wrong doings of these mainly Pakistani child abductors by bringing out the overused 'Racist' slur, perhaps a label should also be hung around the necks of those who criticise Roman Catholic Priest, you know just for a level playing field you understand.

No because without them to highlight the shame of it all, it will be swept under the carpet, and still the children will be unheard.

Can I just remind people that the sexual abuse of children, both girls and boys, is rife in Britain today and the offences are being committed by all sorts of people, not just Muslims. The only fact that all the abusers have in common is they are 99% male. "File on Four", on Radio 4 this week highlighted abuse in Rochdale, and they didn't come any whiter than Cyril Smith and his follow paedophiles.
