The Spanish Government named a public square in Madrid,
The Margaret Thatcher Plaza on 15 Sept this year.
It has been defaced twice since it was named , it would appear that she was
not very well thought of in Spain either.???

What are you talking about? She won three consecutive elections so the majority of people here must have liked her.
probably morons from UK, The Spanish had a good relationship with TGL. Why do you think they named a Madrid Square after her? You should try and do some learning of your own rather than rely on your brainwashing by lefty teachers. How old are you? thought so! WAP!
Yes, your word 'either' is superfluous.
Well, I don't know any town abroad that has, for example. a "Gordon Brown Strasse" or a "Harold Wilson Plaza"............but you never know.

Bomber Harris had his statue defaced in London.

There will always be "nutcakes" wherever one goes.
If Maggie was around now she'd be offering to change young Ed's nappy, wipe his nose, give him a few lessons in making speeches (ie. Don't forget the important things) and for goodness sake dot take us back to the 70s
Oh and by the way, there ARE a lot of British yobs in Spain, I met a lot when I lived there!!!
Farrier was a glint in his fathers eye in the 70s linda, he only knows what his subsequent Brainwashing allows him to know, I doubt he's ever done any personal research, I doubt he's ever actually read a book.

Sorry , I did not know my post would upset so many of the Radicalized Right,
hope i have not upset your weekend? Enjoy.
No need to apologise, Farrier. Your post is amusing. :o)
Maggie looked upon most people as a piece of dog crap on her shoe. The sycophancy that some people display towards her really makes me cringe.
It's accessed via a one way street. Definitely not for turning.
Minor flounce there. Ouch.
Talbot, Maggie didn't look down at people, she grew up in a corner shop in a working class town amongst the real people, not the social elite of Primrose Hill mixing with Champange socialists/LSE Marxists. She cared about everyone and inspired aspiration and self reliance. She didn't get everything right certainly made a lot of enemies but she was a strong leader, not like this mob today who have never done a real job.
That's funny, Linda. I take it it was all TIC?
for farrier read talbot, did your mum buy her council house?
No.

Were you one of Maggies political soldiers (for soldiers read police)

I'm happy to report that it will take more than a misguided nonentity to upset my weekend!
Carol Thatcher aged 7

Yesterday, my mum asked me to hand out invitations for my brother's surprise birthday party.
That's when I realised he was the favourite twin.
^What?
Not a very good example to use to start an anti Thatcher debate. Name something - anything - that hasn't been defaced or sprayed on at some time.
