Okay...no cheating (you're not allowed to go to their website and look this up)...

Who knows what policies UKIP have which aren't related to the EU and immigration?

This is based on something mikey4444 posted on an earlier thread and I suddenly realised that (broadly speaking), I know what the Tories, Labour and LibDems stand for on a number of subjects - but UKIP? I haven't a clue.

How do the rest of the AB News community fare?

(And no - this isn't an intentionally anti-UKIP thread, although it may be very morph into one, but that's not my reason for posting this question).

What Are Ukip for?

Well going on another earlier thread they're starting to worry Mikey!
The clue is in the name, they are for the independence of the UK. I realise to the EUphiles that is a tricky concept to grasp!
I do not consider going to a website to find an answer as 'cheating'. What a bizarre question.
I think I know what they don't like, Europeans and foreigners from further afield. But apart from the fact that Farage clearly enjoys his beer, I haven't a clue what they do like.

it's not bizarre adder

i think it's intended as a 'straw poll'

personally i have no idea what ukip policies are

but then I haven't bothered to investigate or remember what Conservative, Labour or LibDem policies are either

That's like saying that the Conservative party has a sole goal of conserving things. UKIP have a manifesto which outlines their core values and policies on a range of national issue.

My question is - with the exception of EU/immigration - who knows what they are? BlackadderV - going to their website and looking up their policies would be 'cheating', because I'm interested in finding out what people know, rather than what they cans quickly look up.
You know what the liblabcon 'believe' in. Because they're all exactly the same and all try and appeal to the same voters. They're all quite happy with the existing status quo(ie, the rich get richer, the poor get poorer) They are concerned with power for powers sake and couldn't give a monkey's what ordinary people think.
For the first time in 30 years we have a party that listens to what people are saying and believe in what they are doing.

Thanks for that...but what are UKIP for?

I am certainly not arguing that what you say is untrue - I'm interested in finding out what people know about UKIP policies...

...the non-EU/immigration policies, that is.
Hands up all those who want to pay to see their GP...............
/a party that listens to what people are saying and believe in what they are doing. /

blimey!

well summarised svejk

but alarmingly reminiscent of Adolf's positioning LOL
stop wasting foreign aid
stop all these energy taxes
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to compare Farage to Hitler. Not very long, it would seem.
shake up the NHS.
/compare Farage to Hitler/

you're right adder

it's completely inappropriate - especially since Nigel shaved off the 'tache
ja, I was wondering that too, ba.

If something seems too good to be true it probably is!
Whatever one's views on UKIP, judging by the number of threads and comments on here today, Mr Farage has got all levels of the political establishment running scared. Should they win Rochester, especially with a healthy majority, then expect quite a few more defections, and not just from the Tory party.
So I cheated, so what the...., I like to carry out my research at source rather than guess it or depend on malicious gossip.
