Really andy? I always felt that you were quite a 'Catholic' poster- you know say whatever you like and then apologise at confession sort of thing. 14 is a surprise to me- my mistake evidently.

No, that is not my approach at all.

I will say what I believe to be true, and defend it vigorously.

I never set out with the intnetion of upsetting anyone, and I fully understand that the limitations of written communicatin can create misunderstandings.

If I have inadvetently upset or offended anyone, and I believe I have expressed myself badly, I have no problem whatever is apologising.

But that is not the same as ranting on. brain disengaged, and then using the caveat of saying sorry to excuse myself - that I don't do.

Still like the phrase though - as a confirmed atheist!

I've actually been here 2 1/2 years Andy Hughes- and yes it IS my perogative and you are getting stroppy yet again about something someone else thinks.
You can certainly say whatever you like, but the way you appear to other people might be very different than you presume, and is not under your control at all. I'm sure the same could be said about me.

I'd guesstimate I've seen you apologise half a dozen times in the last fortnight, andy. Not that it really matters much. Politicians etc. are falling over each other to apologise. It seems to be in vogue at the moment. That, and demanding(lol) apologies.

As a fairly recent ABer I find many of "you lot" to be rather "know alls", and all this apologising back & forth is "over the top".
