So How Are The Labour Party Going To Respond To This?

Or have they just been seriously torpedoed by a traditionally left of centre research group? Fuel for the Tories, UKIP and all the rest......
Apparently Labour immigration from outside the EEA has cost the public purse a mere £120 billion over their terms of office, though the recent immigration of Eastern Euros have given a boost to the tune of £4.4 bln.
Why? Expenditure that has gone on extra NHS costs, welfare, education etc and outweighing the amount that they have brought in.
We want to elect this shower in again? Folk must be joking.

It is not rocket science and has been clear to those of us blessed with more than one brain cell and no rose tinted spectacles for many years.
What will labour do - distance themselves from New labour I would suspect.

I wonder if you have any idea how much your opinion matters to me?
No, seriously - I'm kidding. Join in on the debate rather than making personal insults. Honest...because we don't know each other, and we're not mates, whether you think I'm a genius or a fool is pretty much irrelevant.
In the same way that it matters not a jot to you what my opinion of you is - right?
So back to the number-crunching, which I think is the crux of the post.

Apologies OG, appears I mis read your post.
"Experts from University College London also said native Britons made a negative contribution of £591 billion over the 17 years – because of the country’s massive deficit."
So would you like all native (black, white, purple) to leave the country sp.
That statement has no relevance whatsoever, especially since a lot of that debt was caused new labours multi cultural experiment - on foreigners!!

a) this 'independent' survey was payed for by the EU.
b)UCL is a Marxist breeding ground.
c) You can 'twist' statistics to say whatever you want them to say. Even you must know that.
d) I couldn't care less if they contributed a trillion pound a minute. I have empathy for other people unlike you 'I'm alright Jack' champagne socialists in your smug, cosseted little lives.

I don't really care about the numbers; in all cases, I would put it to you, the figures would be far better if we weren't such a honey pot to those who don't want to work.
I'm not advocating banning all immigration and I'm not advocating stopping the right of EU members to work in other countries, the operative word being 'work' - however, we should stop the gravy train that fuels these problems.
A consequence would be that there would be no need for Cameron to get in a frothy state about staying in the EU and causing these diplomatic headaches about membership and pishing off other leaders. Such unilateral action on part of the Government would be well within EU law as per the welfare payments other states make.

The Coalitions record is worse.
During Labours 13 years, net immigration averaged 168,000 annually. The Coaltion have let in more than that for the last 3 years. The recently released figure for the last 12 months was 243,000.
Therefore it is fair to assume when the Coalition Immigration numbers are put to the same scrutiny, the cost will be even greater.

Gromit those figures are meaningless unless emigration is taken into account. The graph on the link below is interesting:
