But if he did, and he pointed it at the police, then fine and sadly that's the problem with allowing guns to proliferate so openly. We will have to wait and see, but I'd be surprised if the police were downright lying.
We only have the police's word for it at the moment. Let's just hope they have CCTV and it can be proved that the police officer was acting in self defence.
My thoughts at the moment is that the report of the incident could well be to try and stop anymore riots.
I hope that isn't the case.
AOG....No shootings are acceptable to me whether it be police or civilians.

Maybe he should look at retiring now because it seems his judgement might have been flawed.
Like Ummmm said, you would of thought that the 'criminal' would have at least discharged his weapon unless as douglas9401 has mentioned, it was either unloaded, fake or had a feed issue. Either way if that was the case you would of assumed the kid would of dropped the firearm and give himself up. It seems like the officer just panicked and discharged his firearm several time irresponsibly.

So you've seen absolutely no footage of this incident whatsoever yet with your extremely limited knowledge of firearms have condemned the officer already?
Please don't ever do jury service.
I know as much as you do about this incident but for now I'll go with the Mayor's summary:

P.S. At the risk of appearing a pedant it's have, not of.
