Has anybody heard or read anything new about the driver?

It seems strange that nothing has bee disclosed as to whether he had a heart attack, or any mention of his colleagues in the cab with him?

Surely his medical records are confidential and they'd need permission to release anything.

...so presumably only limited announcements about their condition, if any

I did hear from a friend 'in the know' in Glasgow, that he collapsed at the wheel and his foot was stuck on the accelerator, his 2 collegues in the cab were trying to steer the lorry but couldn't get his foot off, just a very tragic accident it seems.

strange that we can't be just told if the unammed driver had a heart attack. why the secrecy ?
