Youngmafbog - Although I'm of the thinking of 'lock them up and let them spend however many years looking over their shoulders' I fully understand why people feel so strongly. I might not agree with knee jerk reactions....but I do understand.

It's in most peoples natural instinct to protect children so crimes against them gets the worse reaction.

I really hope that he gets an appropriate sentence when he is sentenced to reflect the pain and agony the victims have gone through and I hope by the verdict today the victims might be able to try and move forward I feel so sorry for them.

I must be missing something... is it possible to look at a child and know if they have gone through puberty, are going through puberty, haven't yet started puberty?

To me they are paedophiles. Using the the dictionary's most simplistic meaning..
'A person who is sexually attracted to children.'


In theory using the prepubescent argument you could call one man a paedophile and yet another man not a paedophile despite them both having sex with a child of the same age.
