I see from the papers one of the greatest statesmen and politicians of the 20th century died exactly 62 yeas ago today.

Both got a bad press,however they did what was best for the Soviet Union in the early part of the 20th century.
Notable achievements were the great agrarian reforms of the '30s.
the best thing that happenned for the soviet union happenned in 1989 mate. Joe was worse than Adolf.

I betcha wonder what happened to Madame Chekhova ? She what married Anton Chekhov er the famous dramatist. Well her real name was Olga Knipper and she spent the war hobnobing with German Generals in berlin, Naughty Girl ! and then in 1945 popped up in the Kremlin besides said Uncle Joe because she had been a Russian agent all along !
