He has Philip, Arthur or George to pick from though Philip is out because of Spanish connections and Arthur has largely been removed as a serious Kings name by the legend of King Arthur, so that leaves George VII, though he could pick any name really.
SirOracle, // it was the three main political parties who were united in wanting Scotland to remain in the UK and were constant in their visits up here telling us how much better off we would all be together. Hoist by ones own petard comes to my mind. :-) //

The SNP is a party that by it's very nature only cares about 5 million of the 60 million people in the country. The other 55 million it's so disinterested in, it would actually prefer it if they became foreigners.
Worrying for most of us then that they could effectively be holding the government to ransom in a few months time, and dictating all sorts of terms aimed at further benefiting the priveleged 5 million.
The independence 'yes' voters must be thinking, 'phew, thank god we didn't win'.

I'm not sure they planned to lose the independence referendum, but that's essentially why they're in such a good position now. You stand to gain all the benefits of independence with none of the risks.
Any Scots would be mad to vote anything other than SNP at this point.
