Senior Cat
Last time I took my 19yr old cat to the vet for a check up he said he was in good nick, had a strong heart but a bit smelly. I didn't worry too much at the time, but he is! he does smell and I notice it more now I have had it brought to my attention but what can I do? He is old after all.

I'm assuming there's nothing wrong with his teeth or anything else health wise seeing as you've already seen the vet?
I'm more inclined to think that as an OAP he's less inclined to groom himself as often, so he's got whiffy. Think there's a spray you can buy to help combat this.
And why am i now singing the Smelly Cat song from Friends in my head?

You can get pet wipes at Pets at Home, if I went near my elderly cat with a spray she'd shoot off.
I've started buying that cheese spread called Seriously Strong cheddar a little bit on a spoon roll the tablet in it and bob's yer uncle, she licks it off my finger.
Just thought I'd share that with other cat owners on here....lol
