David Dimbleby replied to Nigel Farage's comment on a left wing biased audience saying that an independent body had been chosen. This body turned out to be Poll Company ICM who are linked to.........The Guardian. Surprise, surprise!

I don't usually agree with Farage but it hit me early in the debate on that the audience were generally left wing.

I know you have an obsession with UKIP Mikey. I try to look at all sides of the arguments. I must admit through that 13 years of Blair and Brown soured me with Labour and the two architects of that era running the country with Sturgeon fills me with dread.

Ops, done know what happened there! Blooming iPad!
Any Questions does not have a selected audience, probably for the same reason that the audience last night needn't have been either: namely that they don't take part in the debate.
And, given that, I'm surprised to hear so many people branding that audience as left wing or indeed any wing, as we did not hear their opinions on anything (!) There were 4 left wing debaters and one well to the right so the moderate right wingers in the crowd would not have had much to cheer anyway.
And whose fault was that!
It's a dream ticket Linda......Wallace and Wee Jimmy Krankie.
Linda...I don't really have an obsession with UKIP, but its just that they keep providing me with such marvelous material to work with ! UKIP is a satirists
best friend !

By the way I am not terribly sure who your two "architects" are. Brown is dead in the water and Blair has gone on to other things.

You must vote as your conscience tells you, but vote on issues if you can, not personalities, although I am the first to admit that its not easy to stick to that resolve.
And yet we still have no news on his cheese policy or his stance on giant vegetables? Shouldn't you be more intelligent in your sources, Craft?
Nicola Sturgeon........... ' said she wanted to stitch up England'. oh please !!!!!!!!!!!
Mikey, //By the way I am not terribly sure who your two "architects" are. Brown is dead in the water and Blair has gone on to other things. //

I think she's talking about the two Big Eds - Miliband and Balls. Perhaps it's time for you to abandon the failed satire and do some homework.
Not when I look at those two Marshwarble....
We have to accept that the SNP and Sturgeon are here to stay, and on the evidence of her performance last night, she deserves every plaudit she gets.

I am no supporter of the SNP, as I feel they are totally wrong in their desire to see the break-up of Britain ( as were most Sots, by the way...lets not forget that they lost the debate last year )

But I thought she was very feisty in her debating skills, and I suspect we will be seeing more of her in the future.
Perhaps it time you gave your acid tongue a rest Naomi ! I am sure Linda can speak for herself...she certainly doesn't need your help !
She's not standing for election - but she'll pull Ed's strings. There's a happy prospect!
"I don't really have an obsession with UKIP,"

oh god help me, i never though laughing could hurt so much......pathalogical is a word that springs to mind
Did you mean pathological Baz ? I think that is the word that springs to my mind !
But Mikey..... that was my first venture into this thread.... not as though I've dominated it or anything. I'm cut to the quick!

Actually, if I have something to say, I say it. If that doesn't suit you I can only say 'tough'.

So will I Naomi, so will I !
Good. I'm pleased to hear it, Mikey. Unlike you, I've never tried to stop anyone else posting.
