The Next Labour Leader?
Answers
//a bit morally "dicey" but so are many of us;-) // It too much to expect our politicians not to be "morally dicey). Wouldn't you think they'd have learned to be above this after the Expenses scandal?

You’d think politicians – especially those with high aspirations – would have learnt by now that taking the opportunity to be a bit dicey doesn’t really go down too well with the electorate.
(What is it with Labour? He looks as geeky as Ed Miliband! As favourite to win, not one to inspire confidence, I'd have thought - but there you are).

\\ There is no suggestion of wrongdoing by the shadow health secretary, but Sir Alistair Graham, the former chairman of the committee on standards in public life, told the Sunday Times the politician’s arrangements were “wrong” and showed a “lack of judgement”.//
I have to assume then, with my limited intelligence, that wrongdoing and "wrong" doesn't mean the same thing. I would never have succeeded in politics.

Obviously taking a lesson from arch-Tory, Bill Cash, who was only cleared on appeal of being 'naughty'. Click http:// en.wiki pedia.o rg/wiki /Bill_C ash and scroll down to Expenses Claims for a near-identical story.
And yes, I know there were many more on both sides of the House.
