TTT...if only Hadrian had built that ruddy wall out of lettuce ! They would have stayed at least 5o miles north of it !
Goodness me, some strange alliances on this thread today.
Still, true colours, eh?
Who were the buffoons who elected them then?
I was one of the "buffoons" who elected them retrocop. If we're talking about parliamentary protocol being breached, why are we not talking about the speaker refusing to wear the wig and gown that he is supposed to?
TTT, just because the BNP don't have any seats there's no need to get nasty.
jordyboy et al may claim that they are not representative but they surely are. All but 3 seats are SNP the people of Scotland voted them in that is what they wanted.
as I said above and it is well known, I am a Tory.

I really can't understand all this anti-Scot business !

To listen to some of the hyperbole that is being voiced about the SNP, you would think that they had stormed over the border, armed to the teeth like the Taliban.

They were voted into their Westminster seats, fair and square and are now part of the Opposition, just like all the other Parties that are non-Tory.

They were voted in by the same rules that every other MPs was voted in by.

So why all this vituperative language ?
maggiebee
The precedent to arrogantly ignore parliamentary protocol was already set by another Scot first.

// It was a bad start when Michael Martin arrogantly refused the headgear. "It's just not me," he insisted, presuming to take the job on his own terms – an attitude which prefigured his eventual disgrace//
"The buffoons" would be the ex Tory, ex labour, ex libdem supporters that have flocked to them
Tory Tory Tory. The very fact that you show THAT woman as your Avatar says it all. I can only feel sorry for you & the brainwashing techniques you have obviously undergone. Nevermind we will soon be seeing & having to cope with the deluded doctrine you have once more helped to launch on this country.
you lost, wear it.
Play nicely girls !
TTT, I feel it's attitudes like yours that has got us into the mess we're in today. Man mind thyself and *** the rest!
I think the creation of the Labour party did that maggie, back in 1900.
//Man mind thyself and *** the rest! //

Isn't that precisely what the SNP has in mind?
