Evans started by saying NEVER to the job. To TG fans it felt like an endorsement of the lost trio – “They can’t be replaced”. That crumb of comfort has turned into a slap in the face.
TG was a like a couple of hours in the pub with your best mates. You didn’t care what you talked about, just knew that at some point you’d have a great laugh because the chemistry existed. Evans will now look like your supposed best mate turning up at the pub with your ex on his arm, and I won’t be there to watch because I’m a long way from over her.

It is the international market that the BBC is looking to.

As good a choice as any. Fans of the program need to realise that it'll essentially be a different show as the one they knew and loved finished when the old team went.

I still won't be watching it.

Any chance of the TG trio being offered a similar programme by ITV?. What is left on BBC won't be worth a watch imo.
