Hello How are you?? I have a issue... I am Besarti and i live in Albania. I started talking to a girl from facebook. We talked together for 1 year and 2 months.. the second month she won scholarship to Turkey(10 hrs distance from Albania). we are still talking, but the problem is that she is 8 months older than me,im 19.I do like her alot and i don't know if i can call it love but i think about her everyday. I don't know if she likes me back and it makes it more difficult for me.. I am afraid to tell her.. but also afraid that she finds another one.. She is e really good person with a good sense of humor and smart.. I am a good person funny romantic but still..i don't know what to do.. Im afraid she will reject me.. I need somebody to help me and find solution for this.. Thanks.

You seem to be worried about the age difference. It's only 8 months...not really a difference. I think you really need to let her know that you like her...enough to want to stay in touch. Let her know that you don't want to lose contact. If she feels the same she'll agree. She's written to you for more than a year...I'm sure she has positive feelings.

You just have to take a chance in life otherwise you may miss a great opportunity. If you tell her you like her a lot then she will either tell you she doesn't like you ..unlikely if you have been talking to her for a long time ... or she will tell you that she likes you back. The age difference is nothing at all to be concerned about.

Serious answer - tell her you like her company and ask her out. If she says no (I once was genuinely washing my hair and had no hair-dryer) you accept that and ask if there is any chance of a date in the future. If not, you move on. We all fear rejection, sometimes you have to be brave, jump and hope the parachute opens.
