/// Unlike almost everybody else on here, I think the Labour Party would do itself no harm if it showed some clear blue water, between itself and all the other parties crowding together in the middle. ///
Thank you Mikey, but are you now suggesting that the Tories are crowding together in the centre, I thought that you generally positioned them to the Right?
Seems obvious from your answer that you support a more leaning to the Left, the question that i must now ask is how far to the Left would that be?

AOG...I can't quantify my left-leaning, rather as you can't quantify your leanings to the right.
All I am saying is that for ages now, people have said that there really isn't much to choose between all the main political parties now in Britain. We have just gone through 5 years when the Liberals, a left-ish party, sided with a right wing party. Is it any wonder that the British public turn out in such low numbers at elections ?

I doubt if even Jeremy Corbyn wants to lead the Labour Party.
I suspect that while the Daily Telegraph wets itself over the likelihood of him winning Mr Corbyn is rather concerned about it.
He was brought in to the contest to liven it up and widen the debate.
Given that he's out of step with most people in the Labour hierarchy his leadership could not really last more than 5 minutes. But he's a breath of fresh air if you're fed up with besuited clean shaven Blair/Cameron clones
Someone somewhere tho is wondering whose idea it was to allow Joe Public to pay £3 to have a go, tho I suspect that that is not the reason he's doing well
FWIW I'll be backing Andy B as the best of a poor bunch

Well it has to be somebody and in the absence of Chuka Umunna and the current non availability of Dan Jarvis (there'll be no DT polls or articles about HIM when the time comes you may be sure :-)) we need someone who at least holds out the serious prospect of dumping the Tories. Someone other than the Tory back benches that is!
