they're usually expensive, but if you're on a serious charge, guilty or not, you'll want the best lawyer you can get. In fact the way our legal system goes, you'll want a lawyer for practically any charge at all. But she may well have paid for it herself.

Did the police interview the children? Or Social Services? Or both. How could Social Workers alter statements given to the police. Has the investigation in Norwich Social Services been concluded? Why would the Social Services alter the statements?

All sounds a bit odd. I can see Black appealling this verdict, it feels wrong.

So the Police had all the evidence in 2010 but did not prosecute. And the original interviews had leading questions to the children.

Sounds like the defence solictor, which Jordy is complaining about, was next to useless.

10 people were charged - 7 were cleared of ALL charges.
Carol Stadler was cleared of ALL sex charges and convicted for assault only.

If the Social Worker I quote above 'denies' the claim she altered the childrens' statements, that means that investigation has not yet been concluded. So why was an allegation about altered statements that has not yet been proved, been allowed as evidence?

We may not be being told the whole story because there are children involved. But as I see it, the prosecution looks flawed. We shall see if the pair appeal.
