// Retired bricklayer David Arloff and two friends sent the party cheques for £3 to become registered supporters.//

Integrate. Or die.

Are you telling me the Lady IS for turning?
So much for the party of the downtrodden working classes. Labour shoots itself in the foot at every turn - and its supporters are still taken in. Sad really.
Let's just hope they're nine quid short for the leccy.
Thousands have joined the Laboru Party, but it is unfortunate that these lads are so stupid as to just send money off in the post without finding out how the process works.
I suppose it may have been worse, they could have tried to subscribe with thrupenny bits, tanners and florins sellotaped to an 'Omo' box.

So only intellectuals should apply to join the labour party then?

Thought that was only in Blairs era.
If they ever got back in power, would their Prime Minster no longer be allowed to reside in 'Chequers'?
I would have thought a political party who accepts cheques from full members but not from registered supporters because "it's a new process" were the ones being stupid.
