// How much would you be prepared to give up to accommodate them? Would you be happy to see the infrastructure of this country, health services, education, etc., buckle under the burden? // How many of you have complained about Gypsies/Travellers camping near them & had them moved on ?
Sorry Ichkeria, but regardless I think should definitely be registered before they move on. It needs controlling, even if the holding camps are awful, they are not in danger of their lives.
Boo deserved the best answer. She tells it like it is!
They could have registered them all by now. How long does it take to 'registrr' someone?
The Hungarians are just playing games.
Not long if they are in one place. Perhaps a lot of them may want to avoid registration.

Just listening to the Archbishop of Canterbury, wonder if he intends taking them in and practising what he is preaching.
They are all muslims, we are a Christian country, the mosques in many towns are not big enough, so they'll want to build bigger ones, local councils will pander to the muslims, too scared to object in case of being charged with racial discrimination - the invasion has begun, God help us all!
Of course they want to avoid registration.
Like I say, the Hungarians are playing games : make it abundantly clear that you are NOT welcome here and yet try to stop you leaving. Were it not for the charitable actions of ordinary Hungarians, many of whom are ashamed at their government, it would be even worse.
Well you should at least should be ok with the man upstairs, Saint Peter :-)
How could they all be registered by now Ichkeria? They are refusing to be registered. Hungary has been trying to do the right thing by registering them but they don't want to play by the rules. You and I must be watching different news reels.
Boo...I have been out at work all day.

From what I have seen on the TV yesterday and today, these people don't want to come to the UK....they want to go to Germany and Germany has said that it is happy to have them.
The worrying thing is that none will be security checked. We do not know who they are!
//these people don't want to come to the UK....they want to go to Germany//

You'd think if they were running for their lives they'd not be so picky about which safe country they end up in.
naomi...Germany is welcoming them with open arms.....hardly something that can be said about Britain, despite what dave has now decided to do.

So why would the refugees not want to go to a country that wants them ?
I agree with Naomi. Poor old Germany.
Mikey, the point is they're safe where they are. You said this was all about people running for their lives. Doesn't seem to be.

Togo

They will be issued with travel documents quickly and efficiently, as is the German inclination, then of course be free to move to where ever they care to in the European zone.

Agreed Naomi.
Worth re-posting here.

///Ms. Merkel insisted Hungary should register migrants who arrive there and review their asylum applications.

Germany said last week that it would allow Syrian refugees to stay in the country regardless of where they first entered the EU. The decision to skip the triage of Syrian migrants reaching Germany was made both for humanitarian reasons and in an attempt to speed up the review of asylum claims filed by Syrians, the government said.

Ms. Merkel said the German government had been in touch with the Hungarian side over what she called a “misunderstanding” that all Syrians can travel to Germany without having to register in Hungary. ///
So that travel documents can be issued quickly and efficiently and get em the hell outa here.
