You must of missed a lot that has already been discussed today.
Hungary were abiding by the Dublin Convention which Merkel reminded them of. Keeprefugees in camps, fingerprint them, process them and don't just pass them straight through to Germany. This is what Hungary have adhered to. Now Merkel has arbitarily cancelled the Dublin Convention on Twitter over the weekend and said let them in to Germany?? No wonder Hungary is confused. Not their fault. And you want to remain a member of Europe whilst Merkel is the Fuhrer ? She changes European policy to suit her own meglomaniac dreams and mot the interest of the Germans. "
Have you actually got any verifiable links to any of this stuff or is this just retrocop FM/stream of consciousness
:-)

And again.
///Ms. Merkel insisted Hungary should register migrants who arrive there and review their asylum applications.
Germany said last week that it would allow Syrian refugees to stay in the country regardless of where they first entered the EU. The decision to skip the triage of Syrian migrants reaching Germany was made both for humanitarian reasons and in an attempt to speed up the review of asylum claims filed by Syrians, the government said.
Ms. Merkel said the German government had been in touch with the Hungarian side over what she called a “misunderstanding” that all Syrians can travel to Germany without having to register in Hungary.///

Thanks for that svejk. Indeed. But yet the Hungarians blithely ignore it.
It just shows that everyone is playing catch-up in a situation that is really beyond everyone;s control
Where Orban IS right is in saying that the EU has no proper external border control.
Nor is there any proper definition of what constitutes an illegal immigrant
But he is part of the problem in this respect, being part of the EU if not Schengen

I Wonder Why?
I wonder why it is Europe that again picking up the bill. The Americans made huge profits from both World wars. Indeed some historians would say that it was their making. I seem to remember that the boast was that they would bomb Iraq into the stone age. Well they managed that. To say nothing about Libya, and all the other adventures. Refugees? Not their problem though is it. Why are they not contributing to the much needed solutions at least in a monetary sense?

Please read. This so called Chancellor is a lady for turning. She will make up the rules to suit her meglomaniac ego when it suits without consulting her European partners. Notice the article says she "quietly" has done this. The German people do NOT want this and Hungary do not know which way to turn. They are damned if they do or dont. No wonder there is confusion with this fool and her cohort trying to dictate the rules of her beloved Federation of Europe.
Our Prime Minister is supposed to negotiate terms for us to remain in the European old boys and girls network ,grovelling with cap in hand, whilst this tin pot Fuhrer thinks she can change the rules without consultation with her so called partners. If you want to remain in Europe to be a Kowtowing Lickspittle to this Federation then good luck.
This will not bode well for the Syrians who end up in Germany. Just wait. The German people are not so enthusiastic as their Chancellor who would like more slave labour. Arbeit Mach Frei.

Retro...that is her affair...let the Germans deal with the situation. If Germany wants to take more refugees, then isn't that a good thing ? //
What sort of answer is that? Earlier you were slating the Hungarians for the disgraceful scenes at the Railway station. They were adhering to the Dublin Covention by NOT just letting the migrants dictate where they wished to turn up.Now Merkel has secretly changed the rules you still blame Hungary.
20 years or so ago the German far right neo- nazis were burning Turkish Ghettoes. What will you say about that when it happens again to these Syrians? Just because Merkel is trying to display that Germany is a shining example to Europe I am afraid her people are not of the same mind and it will end in rivers of blood. Unlike you I will NOT crow and tell all I predicted this might happen either. Ordinary non right wing Germans are protesting on the streets at the moment. Look back and watch the Youtube link I posted earlier. They were non violent. We know how violent the far right neo-nazis can be in Germany!!!

Just to clarify my previous point:
Did Angela Merkel protest when it looked like the Hungary govt was finally moving them on yesterday?
No. One govt is adopting a practical and humanitarian approach to this crisis and one is hiding behind bureaucracy. The consequences of the latter are immense suffering at the hands of - sorry to say this - a tinpot administration

Oh yes they are. Merkel is not stupid If she thought there was a huge groundswell against her policy she would soon back down.
The vast majority of Germans support her.

Is that the best you can come up with. You really are making yourself look foolish.
Bureaucracy is what runs countries and Europe. You are suggesting the rule books are abandoned like Merkel seems to as well ??
//They don't need to register in Hungary
That is bureaucratic nonsense. //
Registration is/was part of the Dublin Convention!!
