Does an event such as the tragic loss of more than 100 pilgrims in Mecca, change your views of Islam and muslim people in general?

Have they said they were all muslims? They aren't usually too fussy about the religion of their slave labour.
Gromit

I don't want to rush you but, I am still waiting for definite proof.
ANOTHEOLDGIT, anyone, even you, is a potential terrorist so it is pointless asking for definite proof that one person is not a potential terrorist.
Why tell AOG, corby? It's gromit you should be addressing.
ANOTHEOLDGIT acts as if every Muslim is a terrorist in the making and repeatedly asks for definite proof that Muslims are not potential terrorists. Does he have any definite proof that HE is not a potential terrorist?
You seem to be a trifle confused, corby. It was gromit who asked aog, apropos of nothing, if 107 potential terrorists had been killed. And aog replied that anyone is a potential terrorist. Just like you did.
I am not in the least confused, what was said was,
'So is it fair to assume [ANOTHEOLDGIT thinks] there are 107 less potential terrorists in the world this morning? All muslims ARE potential terrorists, Right?'
I see a tragic occurrence with dreadful results, I feel only sadness.

My views on some people here have changed overnight though.
Nope, no more than if it had been a Catholic church, would have changed my mind on Catholicism

I was not asked if I was a potential terrorist, and although I cannot ever remember any white English octogenarian ever being a terrorist, but obviously I have no other proof to give you that I am not.

It is you and gromit who seem to question my view that all Muslims are potential terrorists, so all that I am asking is proof that they are not.
I am vey sad for the people, what a tragic loss. It does not change any views I have though.
9/11 , 7/7 and recent ISIS attacks have done more to change people's views about Islam in the other direction than this will ever do to alter their views back. Sad fact if you believe 99.9% muslims are peaceful and anti-terrorism.

No one least of all Gromit asked that.

Since this thread was not posted until 08.17 this morning, how could your view on some fellow Abers who have contributed to this thread, have changed overnight?
