Did I Hear Someone Say This Is Not A Muslim Country?

Blimey that escalated quickly lol, being arrested for having feet on the chair, utterly ridiculous nonsense, i have never put my feet on a train or a bus chair as i think it shows lack of respect, but this show of emotion from that gentleman was just stupid. If he'd sat down on another chair, how could he be sure someone else at some point didnt put their feet on it...

Brilliant story - I can hear the small brains of elderly racists exploding in confusion all over Middle England.
On one hand they really can't stand the thought of this Bisto Tanned Trollop putting her mucky feet on a train seat ...
... on the other hand they are appalled that a Muslim was the one to tell her to desist.
What a Dilemma :)

The answers seem very strange since all I asked was.
"Did I Hear Someone Say This Is Not A Muslim Country"?
No mention of any 'Bisto Tanned Trollop, putting her mucky feet on a train seat', or the 'sound of the small brains of elderly racists exploding', or that a 'Muslim was the one to tell her to desist'.
But still it gives some the chance to empty their box of rude remarks, ageist remarks and of course one of those multitude of racist labels.

To be honest, I think you're on a hiding to nothing here, aog.
Self-centred girl shouldn't have had her feet on the seats. Then when she was 'pulled up' on it she should have apologised, not tried to turn it into the Scopes Trial. Regardless of the religion/ethnicity of the person who, quite rightly, told her off.

If he'd sat down on another chair, how could he be sure someone else at some point didnt put their feet on it too, it was because he had actually seen the "crime" in action he reacted. There are more important things in life than arguing over that and to bring religion into arguments is just so handy for some. Glad the males got involved as a man arguing with a woman over something so minor in my opinion is quite threatening and if it had been me i would have felt scared at his anger to be honest. I am now sitting on my sofa with my feet on it and do i feel guilty? no, does my dog mind? no, because she's beside me and has the audacity to have all four paws on it as well :-)
Let me try to explain to those who appear to be deliberately confrontational over all this.
Mamyalynne was the only one who actually answered the question when she put, "Yes you did - on the video, the silly lady who had put her feet on the seat".
But apart from that if anyone else bothered to watch the video or read the article they would not have failed to notice this:
*** The film shows the debate began after a Muslim man approached Ms Butler and said: 'I cannot sit there. I cannot pray with my clothes on, OK? And I travel every day.’ ***
Yes the woman was wrong in the first place for putting her feet on the seat, something which incidentally very much annoys even myself.
But even if the woman had removed her feet at the request of that person, (which most likely she would have done, since there is no evidence that she refused to do so), it is what the person said, the reason why he could not sit there now, and the fact that he said she should go to prison.
Then the Lady's factual reply, "this is not a Muslim country".
Anyone care to deny that fact?
No I thought not, but it is fast getting there.
