The Schools Loss Here In My Opinion

This lad seems to be what every school needs...a bright, articulate pupil. What a pity that the school didn't recognise that.

"A clock is an instrument to indicate, keep, and co-ordinate time. The word clock is derived ultimately (via Dutch, Northern French, and Medieval Latin) from the Celtic words clagan and clocca meaning "bell". A silent instrument missing such a striking mechanism has traditionally been known as a timepiece.[1] In general usage today a "clock" refers to any device for measuring and displaying the time. Watches and other timepieces that can be carried on one's person are often distinguished from clocks.[2]"

It is now over 13 mins. since I tried to type a contribution to this thread. I am completely, totally, fed up of the computer age. IT DOESN'T WORK. Can you enthusiasts give any justification at all for the blooming internet? (Taken about another 5 mins to type this - goodness knows how long it will take for me to get it registered!)
Yes, Jackdaw. At least, I think so. I am in the middle of a muddle at the moment because we arrived here and simply had to have a phone, so signed up to BT. This has proved prohibitively expensive so we seized on the recent opportunity to change (going to SSE). I honestly don't know the first thing about all this and I've never had any help with all this stuff.
There's something called 'Outlook Express' or something like that, which button I press? Too late tonight. ~Thanks for asking, I'm just lost in all this lot. :) x

Overreactions all round, I think. The "clock" does not look like a clock at all. The teacher apparently thought it was a hoax bomb, not a real bomb, so she didn't really feel there was a threat to the lives of the other children.
He shouldn't have been handcuffed. He also should not be invited to meet UN officials or go to the White House.

AOG...Would this kid have been arrested and handcuffed if he hadn't been Muslim, is a much more relevant question !
We will never know that.
Another relevant question...If this kid is so smart why did he allow the alarm to go of during a lesson?
Another one...If you found this 'clock' on a train would you (like Obama) think
Cool Clock?
