Hemsworth Quad Bike Crash Victims Were 'celebrating Birthday'

If I have read this correctly, the 4 people that were killed were all on a quad bike.

Never having ridden a quad bike before, is it possible or even legal for 4 people to ride on one quad bike, and what is the position regarding helmets?

Faults/blame/stupidity etc etc don't enter it afaic - they're gone and it's tragic, that's all.

DB Indeed they could have taken someone with them - that is another side effect of feeling invincible and it's horrible.

Their families must be devastated. Four youngsters all dead in one incident. The driver of the car is also a victim - I don't know the details of the accident - will feel it was his fault regardless of the legal stuff.

Divebuddy, you've speculated on what sort of party it was (it was one that ended in tragedy, isn't that enough) the fact that they could have killed someone (it could be argued that the driver killed them all but that won't bring them back) and now whether they owned it and whether, if not, they had permission which is completely irrelevant to their tragic deaths. Did you never do anything as a teenager which might have ended in a similar,way? I know I did. Several times.

I think the paying has already started. The point I was making was, it is a tragic accident. No amount of speculation will change the outcome so I'm not sure why you should feel,it appropriate to do so.
