Well if it bothers you type who you are posting too ,simple

JJ, no, I'm just being nosey. I want to see what all these paragons of attractiveness actually look like. It would help me to decide how much attention to pay to their posts. I could ignore the ugly ones completely.
No, Civil Liberties do not give anyone the right to break the law.

You mean like that ^^, and do I have to start every post with
'Avatar Image' as well?
If we only paid attention to attractive people, we would never elect any MPs.
do you look like your avatar, jno?
dannyk, surely she's saying that the laws need changing?
the hair's got a bit greyer, mushroom.

I, or for that matter anyone, does not have to be 'attractive' to offer an opinion that someone else is not, it is just an opinion to which we are all entitled.
Jno, my post was in reply to the PO's question .Are his civil liberties being infringed.?
she's saying that the law infringes his liberties (as laws do). There does seem to be an argument that the law shouldn't concern itself with victimless offences.

Yes "like that^^" works fine with me or even just "steg" would do,
you don't need to do any thing you don't want to tho'
I didn't say you had to be attractive, Baldric. Just that I'd like to make up my own mind. The views of the ugly should never be given much credence.
(waits for someone to say "there's no such thing as a victimless offence")

(not counting me saying it above, obviously)
//"there's no such thing as a victimless offence"//

just wondering who the victim would be if a shopkeeper is charged and convicted of selling a sex toy in alabama.

(yes, that is a crime)
Maybe we should let the Scots legislate independently about soft drugs.

Is this lady saying that, if the Scottish Parliament had devolved power regarding drugs, they would legalise cannabis in Scotland?

I suppose she must be.

That would be interesting. The English and the Welsh not smoking cannabis. The Scots smoking it freely.

Maybe she would be proved right, and Scotland would be better off.

Aha, hang on though ...

Would the SNP be brave enough to pass that law? Is she having a dig at the Conservatives for not doing something that the SNP would never do themselves?
Note to self: cross Alabama off "places to visit" list.
it would make Scotland a tourist destination like Amsterdam, I suppose. You could smoke deep-fried spliffs.
I think she wants everyone to know she is sleeping with a Rasta.
yep. alabama has cottontails, brush rabbits, swamp rabbits...... but no mr buzzy rabbits.
