Not at all. The evidence speaks for itself. The Labour Party is a complete and utter shambles, its leader a disaster – but still it engenders support from the eternally faithful.

The lower the turnout the greater are UKIP's chances.
I'd like to think UKIP's chances hinge on the important issues facing the UK, not on climatic conditions.
Yet is does. Apathy is a more important factor though, not that I care!
UKIP were rather hard done-by in the general election. It wouldn't be a totally bad thing for democracy if they managed to pick up another MP. Still about twenty or thirty short of how many they should have had, mind...

They certainly were. I'd like to see them do it, and I hope the Conservatives lend them their votes, but I think Labour, having such a big majority, will hang on, albeit with that majority vastly reduced.
Then again, Labour had whopping majorities in most of their Scottish seats, and look what happened there!

Don't forget the ethnic postal vote fraud effect.
As someone living in this constitution, I can report that presently it's blowing a gale + persisting down with rain. ;)
