Organ Donation
We had a double tragedy here in Wales, on Sunday, when a Dad and his young son were both killed in a traffic accident.
But there is a positive ending, as Mum and Wife, Anna-Louise Bates has announced that her little boys organs have been donated, thus transforming the lives of other desperately sick children :::

It is brave as Naomi has said, but its likely that other children's lives will be total transformed by these donations.
Nothing is going to bring this little boy back. In her position, I would like to think that I would be pleased that others have been able to benefit from the tragedy.
But I appreciate that is a personal view, and its unlikely that I will ever have to make the choice.

IT is an incredibly difficult Decision to make for some people.
I know several children that have had heart and lung transplants so know the wait can be excruciatingly long and sometimes doesn't come in time so this woman's kindness is awesome.
When my nephew had a serious accident at work he had only a 5% chance of survival, his parents said in the event of his death whatever organs they could get they could donate.
In the end he survived but we were all prepared for what may come.
Media coverage of this sort of thing helps people think about what they would do and from it they may consider a donor card or making their wishes known.
