It follows the Republican frontrunner's call for a "total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on".
Seeing as we not only welcome hate preachers but pay for their living expenses, I can't see this malodourous petition having any effect. Saying that, didn't I see a government minister, on the news yesterday, talking in similar terms?
Given the fact that Republicans may clearly be dim enough to have Trump as their presidential candidate and that he may conceivably thereafter actually be President, it would be rather awkward for Cameron to welome him here for any international conference if he were banned!
You do not want potential terrorists banned but you are prepared to sign a petition to have a 'special relationship' country's politician banned, his only crimes, belonging to an opposing political party, and speaking his mind.
The vacuous love a petition, the herd instinct gets them excited. Arrange these words to make a well known phrase or saying.
your nose other out of keep business peoples.
There should be a petition to ban muslims fron signing the petion to ban Trump from banning muslims from voting for trump....
something not quite right there.. :-)
We should actually invite Donald Trump to come to Britain. Perhaps to London, where he might get a better picture of what the capital is actually like.
Banning him from Britain would only make him more popular in the US I suspect.
