///As recently as this month Fury told the Mail on Sunday that there were three things that needed to happen “before the devil comes home”, he continued "One of them is homosexuality being legal in countries, one of them is abortion and the other is paedophilia. Who would have thought in the 50s and 60s that those first two would be legalised?"///
He said nothing of the kind

No...he said more.
After the initial claim that gay people were going to bring about the end of the world, he'd to defend himself by conflating gay people with paedophiles by pointing to an article about the Paedophile Information Exchange was once affiliated with the National Council for Civil Liberties (now Liberty) which supports gay rights.
He tweeted: "Hears (sic) how I can put homosexuality along side Paedophilia? Printed by the BBC in 2014."

So - he's absolutely trying to conflate people like me with paedophiles.
Serious question - is this a commonly held view amongst people?
Is that why he has garnered so much support amongst certain people on AB?

No - what he was doing was conflating gay people with paedophiles and using an incident from 40 years to prove a point.
I don't think that he has proven a link. He DEFINITELY thinks so (see what his Twitter comment says).
Do you agree with him?
Out of curiosity?
I ask, because I find it odd that you cannot see how incredibly offensive being told that you're a kiddy fiddler is.
Imagine if someone walked up to you and told you that you screw kids simply because you are attracted to the same sex.
Do you think that you would shrug and say - fair enough, that's your opinion, or do you think it would be more appropriate to defend yourself?

Sure...that's completely understandable - but Twitter was the forum where he aired these views, and I knew about it because it was reported elsewhere.
So - back to my question...do you think that what he said demonstrates what I was talking about - that he was conflating gay people with paedophiles.
No worries if you don't agree - I'm just curious to what extent your admiration of Tyson Fury goes.
