The catholic church has said Mother Teresa has had a second miracle attributed to her.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-india-35129463

The Vatican said "The miracle involved the healing of a Brazilian man with several brain tumours in 2008"

Mother Teresa died in 1997, nine years before that.

How can this be attributed to Mother Teresa?

Is this modern day and age I am staggered that people still believe in this sort of thing.

Surely it is no better than "witchcraft".

And it staggers me that MORE people follow the catholic church rather than less, even with the churches controversial history and modern day abuse of children by priests.

I suppose it shows how many gullible people there are in the world.

I fail to see how in the 21st Century, people can believe such drivel.

Never mind, only a few more days until santa comes down the chimney!
Miracles are commonplace and happening all around you. Regarding this specific incident, unless you are part of the Catholic faith, I don't understand why it concerns you at all unless that is, perhaps you feel the need to express your intellectual superiority.
Khandro, it doesnt concern me but I still find it ridiculous and am entitled to say so.

This is worth watching to find out who she really was!!

If that comment was directed at me, Khandro, then you are way off beam. I certainly don’t feel any intellectual superiority.
What I do feel is disbelief that a nun could have had a hand in curing an illness 11 years after her death, and further disbelief that people are gullible enough to think it is possible.
Well all I can say is that Saint Michael never let be down in all the years I wore his pants.
You should probably give them back now x
"Miracles are commonplace and happening all around you." are they now? tell me about one of them and please dont forget the proof to support it!
I think Mike would find them too holey to be of use, pixie.
Mt Theresa talks of paliative care.

Holy? That's what they all say...
Only IF you visit the sub continent will you understand poverty and mans disregard for humanity
Talk is cheap, the proof of the pudding.....
Ratter You are a miracle. Go figure!
Khandro, that's a cop out. It’s incumbent upon you to explain your extraordinary claim.
Lol Khandro, good try! now where's the proof?
Ratter; You began as a tiny seed planted in your mother's womb, you grew there into a baby human being, was ejected into this world and crucially had to take your first breath of oxygen and continued to grow in increments to be a full-sized human. I'll leave you to fill in your own details of how you have fought off attacks from hostile microbes and diseases, have suffered bleeding wounds which have healed themselves and much more, and here you are. Don't you think that life is a miracle?
Conception, childbirth and the ageing process are the result of biology. Hardly a miracle, as it is constant and ongoing. And there is nothing miraculous about people who can’t look after themselves perpetuating this process. (Such as the people that Mother Theresa tended to).
The ability to fight off illness and heal wounds is the result of medical science.
bigbad; Quite a mouthful!
Another statement you need to explain, Khandro!
