Mother Tersea - Confused
The catholic church has said Mother Teresa has had a second miracle attributed to her.

The Vatican said "The miracle involved the healing of a Brazilian man with several brain tumours in 2008"
Mother Teresa died in 1997, nine years before that.
How can this be attributed to Mother Teresa?
Is this modern day and age I am staggered that people still believe in this sort of thing.
Surely it is no better than "witchcraft".
And it staggers me that MORE people follow the catholic church rather than less, even with the churches controversial history and modern day abuse of children by priests.
I suppose it shows how many gullible people there are in the world.

What I do feel is disbelief that a nun could have had a hand in curing an illness 11 years after her death, and further disbelief that people are gullible enough to think it is possible.

Ratter; You began as a tiny seed planted in your mother's womb, you grew there into a baby human being, was ejected into this world and crucially had to take your first breath of oxygen and continued to grow in increments to be a full-sized human. I'll leave you to fill in your own details of how you have fought off attacks from hostile microbes and diseases, have suffered bleeding wounds which have healed themselves and much more, and here you are. Don't you think that life is a miracle?
Conception, childbirth and the ageing process are the result of biology. Hardly a miracle, as it is constant and ongoing. And there is nothing miraculous about people who can’t look after themselves perpetuating this process. (Such as the people that Mother Theresa tended to).
The ability to fight off illness and heal wounds is the result of medical science.
