Has the US already started to implement Donald Trump's suggestions or is there more to this than Mohammad Tariq Mahmood is telling us?

Speculation is unhelpful - the airline have so far not revealed the reasons for the refusal to board, and until they do, making up scenarios is really a waste of time.

You can hardly blame the US. If our country wasn't so lax in allowing little girls to wander in and out to join Daesh etc it is no small wonder they consider the UK a haven for terrorists. It is no coincidence they have called our Capital Londanistan for some time. Our borders are porous and we are an Island. The US of A appear to take their security a little more seriously.
My sister emigrated to Canada back in the 60s to take up a teaching post.CRO checks were done,questions about any drug use were asked before she eventually left our house. The same applied in the U.S. except they seemed to relax, conveniently,the ban on so called pop stars with a string of drug related incidents.
Probably a lot more in it than Mr Mahmood is telling us.

They were going on holiday. The US had already granted them permission to enter, knowing exactly how many adults and children were going to travel.

One of the party probably had the same name as someone who is on the US`s list of dodgy people. They would have found that out when the passengers names were put in the APIS system. I doubt there will by any statements anyone

I think it's a real shame for the family, especially the children who were looking forward to their holiday.
I'd be fuming especially as the airline won't refund the £9k

Perhaps the great Prophet (insallah) works for U.S. Homeland security and disapproves of his charges swanning off to enjoy some hedonistic innocent amusements.
After all we have read enough times that they are not on earth to enjoy themselves.

We don't know. I read one report that said the airline refused, another that the US refused.

I would be more interested to find out how many Muslims flew from Uk to USA that day without problems.
