She is intelligent but I doubt that she is able to understand the world outside her environment. It is doubtful that she could have given such a 'speech' without a little help from her human friends.

She was given two kittens for her last birthday - she can't be all bad if she is a cat lover. :-)

It could be they've spent loads of time teaching a gorilla to talk in sign language and by a stroke of bad fortune it just happened to be a really stupid one that talks gibberish.
