Abdul Haroun who walked the 31 miles of the "Welcome to Britain Channel Tunnel" has clearly opened the door as he was granted Asylum, what the hell has the country become? we might as well give out Free Ferry tickets at Calais to save all migrants Climbing over fences.

In his case he has been granted asylum. I don't know the reasons but presumably he met the criteria by which we have to accept him as an asylum seeker. Whether it's us or France who accepts he is an asylum seeker he now has the freedom to move around Europe I assume if he wishes. I recall he may have to face a criminal charge first though- damaging the tunnel or similar

Why aren't our local MPs asking the question during PM's Question time?

It is a shocking disgrace questions should be asked and if some have been lax at carrying out their jobs they should be sacked.

He has not gone through the proper procedure of claiming asylum, so his application should have been torn up, and he should have been sent back to the first safe country he arrived in.
