And I don’t think anyone should be inconvenienced by other people’s religious practices. If Muslim students want to take exams they may, but they shouldn’t expect the system to be changed specifically to accommodate them – and neither should we.

I trust that’s a joke.

It has been pointed out that I opened a discussion that was already taking place. I apologise for this but it was because this latest appeasement could directly affect the academic prospects for many of our young people by making them have to sit so many exams in one day, including my own discovery that members of my own family were affected, that I posted without due research of ongoing discussions.
We are now a secular country. The majority of us have been shown to have rejected all forms of superstition whether institutionalised in the form of religions or not.
Yet our young people are paying the price for the naivety of our politicians and the self-appointed PC intelligentsia who dominate the media of this country.
Everything we do to placate the non-integrated is seen as a sign of weakness not strength. So now we have to integrate with them.

I'm going to hear this from my niece before I believe you. But the attempt to bring our scholars into line with the time-line on this story speaks volumes for the imposition on the rational majority of superstition driven garbage imposed on our children by people who are here yes, but they are about 500+ years behind the rest of us and they are determined to keep it that way.
