The problems being analysed from the wrong end. Public exams dates are still broadly married to university terms. These were based on the farming year, hence many universities terms still start late September/ early October ie after harvest.
So most school exams still occur at the end part of the school year.
Not only do they not need to occur at this time, they don't need to be delivered as they are in single monolithic national batches.
It would take a modicum of thinking through and organising but it is the schools' exams delivery that's at fault here.

PiedPiper - //Their clear intention is to make Britain a muslim country. It seems that some here are quite content with that, //
I know this is a seriously popular viewpoint - not least of the right-wing media - but do you actually have any evidence to back up that statement?
Most Muslims are just happy to get on with their lives but it is the intention of some Muslims!

bazwillrun - //One recent estimate suggested that British Muslims give over £100 million to international aid charities alone during Ramadan. //
Catch Christians doing that at Christmas!
Can you back that statement up, andy?

what relevance in this world or any other has that got to with the OP ?

As always...three replies and you managed to drag the OP off on a tangent that has absolutely nada, squat to do with the OP....luckily others got it back on track......

When our new residents to be arrive in Britain they are entitled, whilst in custodial care during processing their asylum claims, to 3 square meals a day (all halal of course). I am sure that if this courtesy is not forthcoming, the Human Rights 'lawyers' would be prosecuting us for causing unnecessary suffering, with nice compensation sums all round and a large one for yourself.

Phew!
Thank heavens for that, I was seriously worried there for a moment!
Can't have a debate developing, that would never do!

Well,as we are told often, that is not in the spirit and Site Rules to stray from the OP. Just thought I might remind you. A-H.
More to the point. It is in the spirit and Site Rules /suggestions to provide a link to claims that are made. Link would be helpful so we can all ascertain exactly which international charities recieve all this £100 million money from Muslims.
With all the // I can't work out who first claimed the 100M charity giving but some quick googling will tell you it's an expected requirement during Ramadan. Who do they give it to? Don't know - Cancer Research UK, Dogs Trust, Salvation Army?? Highly unlikely. Having said that it is irrelevant to the OP.
