Well if Saudi women are allowed to learn English, learn technical skills etc in their own country then I can only imagine the Muslim women in the UK are affected by the Ghetto mentality and overbearing,bullying spouses plus ,as I said,before total reliance on the UK feeding them everything on a spoon!!! :-(

Not amongst the women it wouldn't because many of them are not allowed out, let alone to work.

However, that apart, if I went to settle in Spain i would not expect the Spanish taxpayer to pick up my bill for Spanish lessons. Many of the people under discussion here were actually born here. As I have mentioned before, I have observed primary school classes where many of the children speak no English despite being born here and the reason for that is that no English is spoken in their homes (despite their parents having been here for many years). Under the guise of "multiculturalism" (whatever that might mean) many new arrivals here have been actually encouraged to continue in much the same way as they did "back home".

I was amused that Mr Cameron suggested that those not willing to learn English "may be forced to leave". Yeah right. We cannot deport rapists, murderers and terrorists but suddenly we will be able to deport people who cannot speak English. Another squadron of pigs fuelled up and ready for take off.

EDDIE51, you may “have more knowledge on this subject than most others on AB”, but that was whilst living in their country, with their culture and their religion. If that’s how it is, then that is not our problem.

sandyRoe, “they’ll be able to pass on that appreciation to their children”. As they breed like rabbits, it will be those children that will eventually turn us into a minority in our own country. And Mikey, “what a pity others can’t understand your point”. I think we can, as we are not looking at it in a soppy “ah, poor people” kind of way. You appear to be gutted over the loss of jobs in Port Talbot: will you be as Muslim-tastic when those people don’t get the help they need because the money has all been spent on integrating a bunch of foreigners who would prefer US to integrate with them and adopt their ways?
And “A fund to enable them to learn to drive” - good grief, driving lessons cost a fortune, and although my own children have been driving for a while now, they had to save long and hard for their lessons!

Mamyalynne, I would rather see employment being given to the British. People in the steel and the offshore industries have all suffered unemployment recently, and these people have all paid into the system. Surely they are more deserving of the jobs available.

TWR, I would be more than happy for that £20 million to go towards funding those 2 daily flights out of Manchester.

Bigbad, they found the money to come here, they've had a lot more from our Stupid Benefit system that they did not have in their own Country, if the shoe was on the other foot, I can not see that Country giving me a Plane Fair / help to learn their Language, Health Care to bring up their tribes! can you, I've said it before, why should we bend over backwards to please these people, this is the UK, if you don't like it you know what to do.
