Already awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of York and more recently made the Chancellor of the De Montfort University Leicester.

Is there no end to the amount of awards one can bestow upon one individual?

What's up, did you not get enough badges in the Scouts or something?
I doubt there is an actual limit , many people have reams of awards and decorations to their names.
If I could point you in the direction of that bastion of equality, jobshare and decorum, the royal family, AOG, that may answer your question.
"Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill, KG, OM, CH, TD, PC, DL, FRS, RA... was Prime Minister of the United Kingdom... Nobel prinzewinner in Literature... first honorary citizen of the US."

OK, I'm not sure the two people are comparable really. But sometimes, yes, people do end up with more than their "fair share" of awards.
The short answer is "No."

But I suspect that's not really what you are asking, is it?
Your hounding of this woman is disgusting.

You have always supported the scum murderers of this black youth. Says it all.

Gromit if you can support that statement, I for one will endorse your first line posted.
as far as i know there is no "limit" to the amount of awards one person can get, The university ones are totally up to each institution. 3 doesn't seem n overly much amount
Young Jim. Don't be silly.
Jealous that you haven't been given an honorary doctorate or been made Chancellor, aog?

I hear the University of Ahmadu Bello are handing out doctorates and I am sure that Muhammadu Buhari can find you a chancellorship in return for a wee donation to the expanding Nigerian deficit.
AOG's posts during the trial...

// How can those accused expect a fair trial, since it has been 18 years since the Stephen Lawrence's murder?
----
Due to the paper's shocking behaviour, I agree entirely with you, they cannot possibly get a fair trial.
-----
It could be that they would be happy to find anyone they can on who to hang the guilty sign, maybe perhaps to somehow make up for their incompetence in the beginning?
----
... I was trying to get across was the fact that the police would only be too grateful to close their case-book on this one, no mater what. //
bet she does not have the brownie orienteering badge !
I don't think there is a limit.

Was that what you really wanted to know?
Perhaps if she was made chief constable of the Met. it would all be resolved.
Seriously, what is your problem, AOG?
I was being facetious, svejk. What is true is that I suspect AOG wouldn't have a problem with the number of honours/ award Doreen Lawrence gets if he agreed with her views -- and while that's his prerogative it does mean that the finishing question is easily answered as "no".
AOG........ why do you constantly castigate this woman ? Was it somehow her fault that her young son was murdered by white racists ?
I don't 'get' the veneration of Doreen myself. But I figure if it makes other people happy, it's one of the many things I'll have to 'suck up'.
