TCL - Excellently researched. Many thanks for that. Why then did they have an Australian panellist knowing that representative couldn't vote? What would have happened if the vote was split? Who had the casting vote?

I was wondering what nationalities comprised the full panel!

They would if they got the chance but I fear the deadlock is such that Assange will stay put for another four years and the remaining Swedish charges would be spent.

As I stated earlier, the Swedish prosecutors were heavily blamed as well by the judiciary for their handling of the matter

The Group's been going since 1991 and there are elections each year but members can be re-elected so there may be investigations about their country or its citizens after that election where they cannot be involved

The Australian joined in August 2015, the Ukrainian in 2010 and the other members in 2014.
