It'a a rousing song, it always makes me and my mate Arti choke.
Ken Dodds - we are the diddymen men
It should be but it won't be, by the look of it
It already is for the Commonwealth Games I think?
I wish they would change it then the pressure would be on us (NI) to drop GSTQ as well and have our own like Scotland and Wales (and England)

Whose anthem? Britain's? England's?
We don't actually have blue-birds on this side of 'the pond', Jordy...

Thanx for link ichkeria
I am an Englishman living in Wales, and I am not sure how popular "Jerusalem" would be in this side of the Severn Bridge !

But for the English it about ideal I would have thought.

I think that God Save the Queen should be saved for Royal events and British sporting events and Jerusalem for English sporting events.
Jerusalem is about Jesus coming to England (specifically the west country) as a boy. Why would people who don’t believe in god, or believe in a different god, want to sing it?
Why would people who don't believe in God sing "God Save the Queen"?
no idea ich
Jordy, I thought that was beautiful ..
Love 'Jerusalem', it's really good to sing (which is a consideration of course), but I would go for 'I vow to thee my country'. Great tune and country/loyalty focused.
