I am shocked, disheartened and deeply saddened! What a sad indictment of a worryingly large portion of white Americans who have been taken in by Donald Trump! How can they be so attracted to a man who is totally insensitive to ethnic minorities, constantly contradicts his own beliefs and words, has no respect for anyone who has not managed to become financially successful in life, appears to openly lie a lot to suit his own gains, encourages violence etc. etc. Sound familiar? Haven’t we seen someone like this before in history? In the early 1920s there was a young Austrian who had very similar views and captured the German people with his wit, his lies etc. Remember him? The USA has already lost its status of being “America the great”. But is it wise to consider voting in a new President who will cause yet more discrimination and violence to erupt? Is this a bit of a backlash on having the first ever black President? To me, at least President Obama seems a very knowledgeable, intelligent, humble man who has won a lot of respect internationally. In contrast, Trump is already a joke internationally and is starting to make a mockery of the American people as a whole, which is both sad and unfair. Can anyone honestly see Putin and Trump getting along? Worrying!
