Is anyone surprised that the Tories want to cut taxes for the rich and benefits for the poor ?

Sorry, but cut the top rate of tax and the Government take goes up.....ditto the corporation tax I bet....especially if they tighten up the loopholes.
Number 1 for me would be to switch rates into a sales tax - no avoidance of that - and a tax for green development as to new land for retail or commerical being used - encourage grey land already there in our towns.
